Jeeesshhh....The torture of seeing a bimmer burning and hearing the poor car still blinging....(Or is that their car)....Anyway....I can't believe something like this already happened....:tsk:

Apparently the car crashed into a bale of hay, got stuck, and the hay caught fire.

I know where this happened! Arizona, during an official training event. A salesperson took a turn too hard (trying to show off I'm sure) couldn't handle the power and manager to run the vehicle onto a bale of hay. The driver and passengers exited the vehicle and no one thought to get the vehicle off of the hay.

In a matter of minutes, the hot undercariage ignited the hay, and eventually the entire vehicle was swamped in flames - and a heavily optioned vehicle at that.

The "ringing" noise you hear in the video is coming from the vehicle in which the camera is held. The 2007 X5 has an updated warning sound - yup, you heard it.

Its sad to see a X5 end its short life like that. What was the big deal of just driving it right off the hay? I mean its not like its so hard to get stuck in it like snow.
