E70 3.0is DS rocks?

Anyone driven the 2007 X5 3.0is in DS mode? It completely transforms the car. After three days driving my new X5 I have discovered this mode and love it.

How has your mileage fared in this mode. Is it slightly worse or much worse?

DS is ultra milage pissing mode. it used to even destroy my full tank of gas on a 325i in a few hours driving

what's a DS mode? ;)

My millage always sucks.

I had a 2004 330CiC until May 2006 and never could get the OBC to read above 18mpg. In the first 150 miles with the X5 I have achieved 12mpg. So I do not think the DS mode could be worse. Right now I have had stop using the DS mode as there is snow on the ground and the car is new.

Good to hear about the mileage. Would be curious as to what mileage you're getting without DS.

about 16.5 mixed highway/city.
