You were running a 56 trim turbo on that with 16PSI???? Please tell me that wasn't on stock internals!

On second thought, please tell me that lasted 50,000 miles like that on stock internals. If so, that's exactly what's going on next! Lol. I always thought a stock M50/52 would only be good for about 7-8 PSI max without going everything forged, ARP hardware, metal HG, etc.

Tell us some about that car!

Pirate_copy 08-13-2007 01:51 AM

welcome to the fest buddy

Does that look like street racing to anyone else?

E36 Phantom 08-13-2007 10:46 AM

Yeah, its street racing for sure.

Pirate_copy 08-13-2007 10:48 AM

Sigh....When will they learn!!

ianiac 08-13-2007 10:50 AM

It wont load past 31secs for me..

Pirate_copy 08-13-2007 10:52 AM

It does say it is corrupted but i can watch it all, try again now

All you are missing is some reckless driving on public roads....

E36 Phantom 08-13-2007 11:56 AM

TBH the vid is very hard to see and not terribly impressive or detailed, so you aren't missing much. What caught me is the wording saying it was a 56 trim turbo pushing over a bar of pressure.....DROOL!

I NEED to know if that's on stock internals!!!! Lol.

Vornado 08-13-2007 11:57 AM

I think they're from bimmerforums :)

Chad... 08-13-2007 06:34 PM

I just watched that opening screen again.....
.....I think you're right.

DAMMIT!!!! And there is no way I'd trust a DSM w/ 16PSI on stock internals, it's gotta be upgraded. Man, that sucks...lol.

jh1328 08-13-2007 07:14 PM

haha awh...chad, we crushed your dreams

bmw vs eclipse gs-t

Dude you guys need to learn some stuff about dsm's... First of all 2g'scan withstand 400hp which believe it or not stock internals! safe tune would be around 350hp and can be a D.D. And to the guy whining about street racing, man you have to know something. Most people run on the highway.Wreckless "ricers" driving would be swerving through traffic in pure daylight. Which as you can see the video above isn't wreckless and was on the highway. I mean if ur that rich to take your car to the track everyday go ahead. Please people dont hate on cars you dont know anything about.

E36 Phantom 08-13-2007 08:57 PM

Dude, who the hell are you to come on here and talk sh!t. Who's driving a POS Eagle?

Can anyone say return of Speed_Freak???

Anyway, Supra's are DAMN good cars. DSM's are NOT 2JZ Supra's. DSM's can make power, but are NOT good engine's by my standards. I cannot see a DSM running 380 horses at 1.5bar for a daily driver. Perhaps for an occasional driver/weekend car, but unless the internals have been upgraded, I can't see it lasting long.
I didn't say they were slow, just that I wouldn't trust it at that high of pressure on stock internals.

Chill dude, and go back to dsmforums.

dsmownsdtm 08-13-2007 09:09 PM

Tons of dd on stock longblocks run 20+psi do some research and see for yourself. and my pos tsi will blow the bolts off your bmw toy.

E36 Phantom 08-13-2007 09:42 PM

Ok, I'm just saying I wouldn't trust one for a DD for long term. That's all. Your Eagle may be fast, but it certainly doesn't have the looks or comfort of a BMW. Or cornering. Give me a road course and you'll be gone.
That said, I'm not going to be wasting any more time here. I'll leave you with this, troll.

Nobody said a POS couldnt go fast, but that doesnt excuse the fact that it's still a POS. :D
