What differences do u notice from the short shifter??

Pirate_copy 08-14-2007 01:13 PM

BIG difference, really short throw

Only a problem if your transmission has a problem as it can amplify it :(

The throws are shorter. Duh.

E36 Phantom 08-14-2007 02:40 PM

Lol. Short shifters are a definite requirement for me.
I've been hating test driving the cars I've been driving lately, as the throws are like 3 times longer and the handle sits up too high. I'd get one no questions.

To the OP, a Cosmos CAI is a great mod, but don't plan on driving it during hurricane season or your engine will hydrolock. I'd recommend any other short ram kit, something that sits up right behind the driver's head light, with a heat shield. I'd recommend coating the shield in silicone for best heat resistance. There are a number of good brands out there.

Yes, ignore some of the naughty boys on this Forum. Their male testosterone levels are out of sync at the moment.

Notwithstanding, Welcome to the Fest

Hey join the queue that's going to be Pirates job!!:D

Oh you mean the other kind of mod. As previously suggested read Pirates monster stickie. there has been lots of threads lately about CAI's, exhausts, wheels etc so a little bit of searching will be productive.

and dont mind Vonardo or B/\/\V, it not usually this rowdy on the site.

We will anxiously await these photos and mark them as part of your to-do list, right after you obtain a spell checker.

Definitely, sticky, helped, spell.

Your first post wasn't bad. You spelled everything correctly, except for exhaust. The grammar was off, but given the circumstances, I'm willing to overlook it.
