Hello there. I'm a salesman in Braman Mini and BMW. I spoke to the guy that represents Mini in USA. He came in for a meeting about the clubman. I asked about the SUV and he told me it will be comming out in 2009-2010 and It will look very similar to this one.
I love the looks, it is very similar to the porsche cayenne.

This is not a joke. If you do your research Mini used to have the Mini Moke back in the days. It was kind of an SUV and did pretty good. this will also bring more money to the brand to improve on their cars and technology. the moke used to look like this.

There was also an advanced model of the Moke. It had 2 engines, one driving the front and another driving the rear wheels.

Classic Minis came in many different form factors, so expanding the MINI lineup would be more of an homage than dilution, IMO.

As long as resale remains high...I don't mind.
