Hows my math, gas costs
First off I had a great time at this years Bimmerfest.
Jon mentioned there were 2000 cars this year.
2000 cars times 500 miles (average) =1,000,000 miles driven
1,000,000 divided by 22.5 mpg= 44,444 gallons of gas
44,444 times $4.10= $182,220 spent on gas for Bimmerfest :yikes:
Worth every cent. :)
congrats on the award! =]
Math genius here in bimmerfest? What's more impressive is the values Greg came up with in the calculation.
Congrats on winning the Awards 2 Years in row with some Rare Euro Cars, What's up for Next Year?
Your Math is getting Better too, need an award for that as well...
my kind of economic stimulus plan!
My personal numbers for this years trip:
2503.8 Miles Driven
27.3 Miles Per Gallon
Average speed for entire trip: 53.1 mph
Gas Stops: $389.64
Total Cost: $971.66
Pictures Taken: 722
Worth it :)
I'm impressed with all the number you kept to make those calculations. You are an engineer, right? :D
