Post your faves in this thread. Here's one of mine...
The first thing I'd do is lose all of the stickers, but I like teh turbo graphic. http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachm...1&d=1210049576 |
Wouldent lose anything, the cars sick in my opinion, ill go thru my pics and chose and repost asap.

I would like that car a lot more without any of the stickers but the turbo one, eyelids removed and different wheels.

I think the top one is the same jacka$$ that got pulled over for doing 110 in the carpool lane . He also has a nice stack of decals down the center of his back windshield.
Ding ding ding...we have a match. http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r...s/100_5250.jpg |

Any e30M and any e21, none of the newer cars really made me say wow like the classics did. Oh, and I got to ride up and caravan with Ron Perry and his M5, **** yes to that car...

That's me! :) Thanks for the compliment ... I was very surprised with the reactions from everyone at the show, the stance and the wheels were a big hit. -jim |

i really liked this one. sparkling graphite looks great on the e92 m3 imho. the front lip and rear diffuser, both by 3d design (japan), works well with the car. wheels were ok, but i think something from bbs would be better.

Hello all,
Long time reader 1st time poster. This was my second year attending BF without currently owning a BMW. I'm not really into the newer cars, but I can respect the time and $ they put into mod'n them, I prefer the 20+ older/classics. My favorite was that beautiful blue 3.0 with the cream interior that left the fest early, and my 2nd favorite was that white Hartge H3? Does anyone know the story about these cars? I'm surprised neither one caught the eye of whoever did the classic car judging, but then again there was a lot of cars to look at. If all goes well, BF09 will see me there with a BMW. Great job to the planners and organizers of this event. |
i was behind the hartge h3 when i was waiting to get in through the gate. that thing sounds really crazy!
|
I love old school bimmers, so I would go with this one.

A buddy of mine sold a perfect Hartge H3 that he had owned (garaged) since the 80's a couple of years ago for around 6K. It's in the archives of the classifieds forum here... |
This is still one of my all-time BMWs. A rare classic.
Back in 2000 they were selling for $250K, double the MSRP... :eeps: http://rinconsurfpics.com/images/z8.jpg :jawdrop: |

Yeah, I remember that day (January All BMW C&C). I have never seen so many Z8 in my life.

They were all pretty much the same spec., no options (except for the end of the production run when they offered the Alpina with a slushbox. I spent a bit of time behind the wheel of a Z8. Imagine an aluminium chassied Bimmer Cabrio with an M5 powerplant. What a machine! What a gas to drive... Self-portrait circa 2000 http://bimmerfest.com/forums/attachm...1&d=1210307327 |
Looks good on you, Jon....
