Opinions on this Deal?
We're looking to add another Bimmer- an X5 for my wife. I've been presented with the following deal:
CPO 2005 X5 3.0i 1 Owner 44,500 miles Premium Cold Weather $24,900 There is really no BMW dealer competition in my area, so prices tend to be a bit higher than what you can find in major cities. However, what do folks think of this deal??? Thanks! |
sounds about average, how does the inventory on cars.com compare? i bought a 2006 3.0 from a dealer 300 miles away on cars.com recently.

Thanks for your response. Based on cars.com asking prices, it seems like a fairly good deal, as most of them on cars.com have more miles, were damaged/have questionable histories, or are priced $1-1.5k higher, but it's of course tough to tell how much room the various sellers have in their asking prices. What makes this (I think) a potentially good deal is that it's CPO. I'm hoping some people can give me some actual sale price comparisons.

Bought my 06 X5 3.0 off lease in January for $25,500.
CPO 2006 X5 3.0i 1 Owner 41,500 miles Premium Cold Weather PDC Heated Seats Heated Wheel Sirius HID Lights I think the used market has firmed up since January and my dealer didn't have the car in inventory, so I think your price is pretty good. Don't worry about the last $1,000. If the truck is in great shape and has a clean CarFax buy it and enjoy. |
