Anyone going to MotoGP
 

We are heading off to Laguna Seca this morning. Any other festers going to the race or camping at the track?

I wish I was!!!! Living in WI sucks, but I'll definately be trying to get into some races at Road America, seeing as how I live 20 minutes north of it...

If you go, make sure to take the PCH down the coast. One of the curviest (with elevation changes) and scenic roads I've ever driven.

Reminds me of a time when I was working at CHOMP (Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula). I worked the Superbike Race weekend in July. I was prepared to see and at least converse with professional roadracers like Colin Edwards, the Bostrom and Hayden Brothers, Troy Bayliss, etc. if they came through with their injuries. When I mentioned that to my coworkers who have worked the particular weekend over the years, they replied, "Oh no, you won't be seeing many pros. It's the other numbnuts that pretend to be like their superbike heroes on Highway 1 that need medical attention".

Needless to say, they were right.

I'm attending MotoGP in Indianapolis.

My husband's there this weekend. His Ducati was chosen to be in a contest today on Ducati Island. Not sure if he won his class though.
