Aftermarket Sway bars?

What are the stock size sway bars (front/rear) for an 87 325is? I'm looking to pick to up another e30 (i had the 88 325i), and the first things I want to upgrade would be the supsension/handling.

Main q: is there a maximum size that you guys recommend (will odd setups create a tendency for over/understeer or something ridiculous like that)?

Thanks

I can't remember the stock size, but I have Eibach as well. They are adjustable, so you can adjust your understeer or oversteer. This is done by attaching the end links in one of three different positions. It's a nice feature to have, I believe other brands such as Racing Dynamics are adjustable as well. In my opinion it's worth a few extra dollars even if it's a feature you never use.

I'm running 22mm front and 19mm rear with H&R Race. I love it. Too many variables exist to accurately say how a specific diameter and its respective soft/medium/stiff settings will effect handling.

Ok thanks guys, I wasn't sure if there was a specific size that was "perfect" for the e30. I was looking at the 22/19 and I can get a pretty good deal.
