How To Tell Version Of DVD Navi From I-Drive

Guys,

Got a DVD disk which is the version 1 of 09. Other then from the DVD, can I tell what version from the I-Drive once I inset it into the DVD slot?

I don't think it lists the version anywhere due to the ease of ejecting the DVD and how often you'd want to check the version of the DVD you inserted...
