Very nice X3-terrestrial. For common issues how about a section on the SES light and fuel cap loose issues like SIB 12 08 07.

The first item http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...&highlight=diy has numerous related pages which I think could be useful to list separately -- they're not easily found on the page you linked.

Note, these service recommendations are well in excess of what's included in the "free" BMW maintenance plan, with a goal of keeping the vehicle drivable for 100K+ miles. Some may view these recommendations as excessive.

Thanks for the interest to make this a sticky, I think it would be good to have as a reference. I will PM krisL (I think is our moderator) to see if he agrees.

By the way, the drive dog on my rear left window snapped this weekend while I was out of town, I secured the glass with painters tape to keep it close. I came directly to this thread to look for the DIY's. Will be doing it next weekend.

Great that this thread is now a Sticky. To date haven't seen one relating to the E83.

What is the "drive dog"?
