You park like a douche ...
|
I love it! When I was a kid, Spencer Gifts had a pad of parking tickets along the same lines. At the bottom it said "do you always park this way, or are you just a selfish a$$hole?"
I had a pad of these and used them on cars that blocked my parents driveway. We lived across the street from a park that hosted nightly softball games in the summer. It was amazing how many people would either be 3 feet into the driveway apron or block it completely. The local police were at our house almost nightly ticketing people for real. I had similar problem when I lived in San Francisco where parking is as valuable as housing. Now it's just deer who are in the way occasionally. haha That site needs a better connection, it's slower than molasses in January! |
damn, i tried twice and my computer cant find the server

Me neither. My buddies went out earlier in the year and some asshole double parked on purpose, so they picked up his car and moved it into one spot.

I'm not him, and I didn't make it up. the website owner did, though I bet your LALALALALAICAN'THEARYOU playnice filter is working in either your browser or your dns. check out this link instead: http://www.d********/offbeat_news/You...eAnA**hole_com and replace the '**' with 'ss' |
It's definitely slow. Over 50% of the tries come back 'not found' for me too.
I wrote the guy with some new suggestions... So, living in CA now, we have some others that would be applicable... - Vehicle too long for spot. I often see an SUV or dualie pickup parked in a compact spot. They are narrower than a normal spot, and also shorter. Parking spots and garages out here are already on the "lite" side as it is. - scooter/motorcycle in full sized parking spot, especially on the street. Many cities have motorcycle parking on the street. As a motorcycle rider, I look for these spots. However, some park in a full sized street spot which is a bit selfish if you ask me. - on that same note, motorcycles often park between two cars and share one or both spots, sometimes crowding the car so it cannot get out without knocking the bike over. I say it's the bike rider's loss, cuz he was the asshole! - In San Francisco, it's common to see cars parked in front of a garage, half on the street, half on the sidewalk. - And lets not forget double parking! I bet if you went to a mall this week you'd go thru a reem of paper handing out these notices! |
Haha, great site, I'm going to print up a lot of these to shove in my car and put them on people who are parked too close to me.
When I was at Road Atlanta this September I saw this fake RS America (it was a Carrera 2 with a wing on it) and it even said RS America on the back...so...I wrote a little note for him to find when he got back, it said along the lines of "Nice Carrera 2 with the stock hubcap wheels and leather interior there buddy, too bad it isn't a real RS America Mr. Poser. Sincerely, An Informed RS America owner." Pics! http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/1301/p1010016nv0.jpg |
It is working now. :) I was going to print them out, but you put those on a car of a New Yorker and you might be on the 5 o'clock news. No thanks! :tsk:

I can't get the site to load, either. :dunno:
I saw one of these used a few months back: Attachment 94844 http://www.iparklikeanidiot.com/ Stuck to an SUV parked diagonally on two spots. I'm floored by the people at the gym who circle the parking lot looking for the closest spot. Aren't you there to GET exercise? -Cago |

An idiot in my building always takes two spots with his 2000 Accord LX. There are Ferraris, Porsches, 7 series and 6 series cars in this garage and their owners all manage to park like normal people. This guy, if you park in his "favorite" two spots, he'll just doublepark elsewhere.
I asked building security why they ignore it and they said it's not their business how people park. Huh? Keep meaning to get some fake parking notices with the old: "If your parents screwed like you park, it's amazing you were ever born." |
Years ago at the company where I used to work, one employee who had an old TR7 would park it sideways across two spots as if it were a Ferrari. One afternoon we all quietly slipped outside and used our cars to surround his in a swarm of badly parked cars.

Sorry that was kind of OT, but this is OT. :D Back on topic: I can't get either link to work. One says "Page Cannot be Displayed" and the other says something like "what you're looking for isn't here anymore". I'd really like to print out some of those tickets.... |
I love this!
I always just park way in the back and never I mean NEVER take up 2 spaces. (I feel those who take up 2 spaces are asking for trouble) I love this link! |
Rats. Links still don't work for me. Guess I'll try at like 2:00 AM

Finally got in to the site. Here are the two "notices". Hilarious, and non-damaging to the culprit's car. But to their ego.....
