Might purchase 2000 750iL -anything I should know?
Anything I should look for?
Any known problems I should know of?
Any advice i should know when going to look at it?

lets see. any E38 in general will likely have at some point navigation issues. like needing the unit replaced. various seals, like the intake manifold, these can also warp. water pumps are common. window regulators will likely go out at some point.

basically its all little stuff, its just not particularly cheap to repair. especially engine parts, sensors and other things, on the V12 compared to the V8.

although, i really would love to find one myself. they are real dream machines!

see if you can get ahold of service records or other paperwork. make sure you take it to a mechanic to get it checked out that specifically knows V12 bimmers, because there are little things that even i would likely miss if poking around.

do you have any pictures? how much are they asking anyway, and how many miles? what color? sounds interesting.

I'm trying to find one that is fully loaded with sports package, moonroof, front and rear heated seats, integrated phone (just for looks), but as far as colors I'm not sure what I want. I found one in Arizona Blue with tan interior, and one in Mississippi with Steel Blue outside and White interior, but the Steel Blue one doesn't have a moonroof, but has had the tranny replaced, engined completely over hauled, and wiring replaced. So I'm actually leaning towards that even though it has no moonroof just for the fact that its already had a lot of work done to it.

Here is the Steel Blue one:

Just make sure no rust or floods too. People are good at covering stuff like that up. Generally someone selling one that actually took care of it will have it set at a higher price.

Ok I can say the one in Arizona is the hot one. No doubt cars in Arizona have less rust and corrosion problems. Oh and the color is really great

The on in Mississippi, well let's just say I wouldn't but a car from there or any other lower states down there due to te fact I know flooding is common. Although it is the same color as my car, Anthrecite Metallic.

Ya only reason I was leaning towards the MS. one was because of the work that was done, but color combo wise the AZ one is more of my liking. Not too mention I used to live in Phoenix. So I know how cars do out there. Only thing I saw that bugged me was that for half it's life it was in Idaho. So that makes me wonder if it has some rust.
