1988 M3 no injector pulse please help
 

I recently was given a 1988 M3. I was told there is no injector pulse and i needed to replace the ecm computer because of it but it doesn't sound right to me. But what do I know...I can barely check my own oil. lol Please Help

Here is what you are supposed to do, I believe that during those times, ECU was already invented as it is only programming coding running in a loop, regulating car engine's temperature, and other kind of stuff that is supposed to do by a car. What you are supposed to do now is that, check for a few mechanics and sent your car to them for a checkup and see what each and everyone say, and see which guy quote you the cheapest price.
