2002 M3 Convertible
 

Help my convertible top won't open or close. I think I did something wrong. Any suggestions anyone.

Try lowering all of the windows and opening and closing the trunk. They are all tied into the roof with sensors. Mine sometimes gets out of sinc and this seems to help

Try disconnecting the battery and re connecting it, happened to me once and that worked. no problems since.

Did you raise the convertible top storage shelf in the trunk?

Until you lower the shelf (by pulling on the lever), the top won't activate.

Did you search the forum for an answer? You should always search before you ask questions. Try fuse #46 labled Verdeck Automatisch - 20 amp. And remember, always cycle the top motor by opening all the way and then closing all the way.
