Official name of BMW Megacity Project coming on February 21st.
 

On Feb. 21, the name of the model that will give birth to the i range will be announced. Sources told Autonews that the new electric vehicle range from BMW would carry the i designation, with the models to be named in sequence, such as 1, i2, i3, i4, i5, i6, i7, i8 and i9. BMW has yet to announce the official details of this model.

The first Megacity, the first production model in the world to merge an electric drive with a carbon fiber body, will be built on an aluminum chassis that will hold the batteries, electric motor and management system.
