DVDinMotion - it just works

Paid via Paypal
Received email with download link and instructions within 30 minutes.
Burned CD (ISO) in about 1 minute
Followed their simple instructions and it was done in 2 minutes

Yes, it does work with the iPhone Media Cradle
Yes, it is reversible in the same 2 minutes (no trace it ever happened)
Yes, I realize it could be potentially dangerous to watch DVD's while driving and I have no intention to do so. This is for passenger use only.

www.dvdinmotion.com

Highly recommend

I have used NavTV in all my Dodge diesel trucks and my Power Wagon. I know what people may say about it, but I like it.

chuck92116 11-13-2011 04:30 PM

I just installed the software and now have DVD playback while driving along with the Nav accept screen being gone. :p

With the new computer, BMW Apps, and all the other cool stuff, it will be interesting to see what other features DVDinMotion can come up with without upsetting BMW. :)

Are they still offering a price break for bimmerfest members?

chuck92116 11-13-2011 07:21 PM

Yes

Interesting stuff. Isn't that company owned by BMW by any chance...? Otherwise they could so easily block any software patches like that.

chuck92116 11-20-2011 10:54 AM

Remember everything becomes unlocked, not just DVD but owner's manuals, etc. too!

delmarman 11-20-2011 04:49 PM

What else unlocks that is cool?

How much is it with the price break?

cause $170 is way too much for just a software.

When you consider the amount time/effort/labor that went into learning about the new iDrive, software development, testing, etc. and the fact they only sold a few hundred, it is easy to see why $150 is not a bad deal.

It comes down to economies of scale.

When you consider the fact you are going to pay $2k+ to replace your fun flats, is $150 really a big deal?

jimefam 11-30-2011 10:06 AM

I agree $150 is a steal to unlock my DVD player. The fact it's software only is even better IMO.

bklyn550 11-30-2011 01:59 PM

Its fairly priced considering you don't have to take anything out or put anything in which many other fixes require especially grounding out the break etc....works great i have had it for about 6 months...great customer service and great fix for an otherwise annoying problem

I just ordered the software - this is way better than a hardware solution. I am hopeful for some extra hp through software rather than plug cables all over the shop.

Bought this and installed very easily. Now can even play videos from my iPhone when in the craddle. Definitely worth the $150

You need to have the cradle in order to watch videos?

What kind of videos can you watch with the iphone?

Netflix, youtube, MMS, ??

Does anyone know?

GunsBMW 12-13-2011 01:07 PM

The only videos I tried were the one from Itunes. I havent tried netflix or you tube. I dont think that will work

Turo37765 12-14-2011 05:26 AM

Got Dvdinmotion and it worked just like the video said it would. Great. Now all I do is burn DVD music videos and play them instead of music. Lots of big booties shaking on my screen

Another happy customer here.

I received the download link in a couple of hours after placing the order. Although I got issues at the first try of installing, Lucie (the sales manager) was extremely helpful by providing the solution.

Drove the car this morning with videos on....THE COOLEST MOD EVER!

azray7 12-23-2011 07:02 AM

I too installed it yesterday. It installed sucessfully the first time. DVDInMotion also sent me a link that gives one access to another mod that gets rid of the "I Accept" for the Nav each time you start the car. I am very happy with the results! ...and I purchased it for the Christmas price of $150. :-)

smashhell 12-24-2011 02:29 PM

Do they still have the Christmas special?

Got it, today is the last day. Link here:

Just ordered it today. Discount seems to still work...

tjangi 12-25-2011 10:40 AM

Link as sent within the hour, burned it and installed within 5 minutes... awesome...

tjangi 12-25-2011 11:03 AM
