Programming Version Vehicle Data Status

SITUATION
All affected vehicles have a Vehicle Data Status stored in the vehicle, e.g., E065-07-09-500. This Vehicle Data Status describes the current configuration of the vehicle, and is used for programming by ISTA/P.

INFORMATION
To check the Vehicle Data Status against the ISTA/P version, refer to the attachment.

Attached is an updated file from mid 2016.

DIS v57 software will report your I-level as "UNKNOWN" or "UNBEKANNTE" if your integration level is newer than mid-2008, as it's missing the tables to reference newer I-levels. See below screenshot. The same can occur with Progman running on a SSS.

A version of ISTA that's newer than the version used to update your I-level will report an accurate I-level. Of course your local BMW Dealer can do this. Alternatively, there is a job in ToolSet32 that can report your I-level, assuming it's reference table is new enough.
