Door handle not ligthing up?

is there a setting I'm missing?:eeps:
when I unlock the car the front and back ligths do turn on but not the ones on the handles
I have the welcome ligths box checked in the settings,
the car is almost a month old, no other problems at all:thumbup:

Do you have the premium package handles? Non-premium pkg don't light up. Chrome strip on handle means premium.

I believe it's the same setting that turns the inside light on when you open the car. Check Idrive settings. I have premium 1 &2 and my door handles light up when I open the doors. It did not at first, until I messed with the inside light settings.

make sure your headlights are in automatic mode. knob turned all the way to the left> just leave it there and you wont have to fiddle with them ever.

Not sure how this is related to exterior handle lights.

Me neither. There is no switch for the handle lights.

That's just how BMW implemented it. I guess because the goal is to help when dark.

just press the middle button of the interior ligths, that will activate the "puddle ligths" and interior ligths every time you open the car

Unless you have a low battery warning, and then that is the first thing to go.
