New grommet on windscreen washer pump - leaking.

New wiper blade inserts - dealer only. Aftermarket NFG.

Set of sisal mats from CoCoMats. Perfect fit, good-looking. They have a Velcro-style patch that mates with BMW Velcro buttons to anchor the mats, and prevent sliding.

blz456 12-21-2011 12:13 AM

Replaced my leaking VCG with an OEM one because the aftermarket one I put on after doing the vanos in July still leaked (should've listened to you cn90) :)

Replaced air filter
Changed oil and oil filter
New spark plugs (OEM NGK)
New timing chain tensioner
New brake fluid
New tensioners and idler pulley
New vanos oil supply hose

moots 12-21-2011 04:39 AM

fixed my 'leaky' VCG...or so i thought it was......turned out to be the vlv cover having a hairline crack.fixed with a 2 part epoxy and seem to be holding well to date.

New lemmy tie rods and swaybar endlinks along with an alignment. Steering is tight like little sisters and no more clunking/knocking!

Infamous039 12-21-2011 06:06 AM

Things I have done within the last month
1. Put my Staggared 3-Piece Vellano Wheels on and Rolled rear fenders to take the 275/30/20 rear tires.
2. Changed front and rear brakes/rotors
3. Washed it up nice

I still need to replace one of the rear parking sensors that is not longer working.

Ed Cheung 12-21-2011 09:25 AM

Geeee, you guys are good, all I had done is a "to do list for year 2012" and here are the items on the list....those fixed cost more than my car, LOL.
Vano seal+valve cover gaskets,
replace all shocks and control arms,
tires,
Fix the leaking washer fluid bottle
twisted seat, it is the passenger seat, so this will be on the list for a while
Get the extra key
Fix the remote lock issue,
replace PS fluid, and check why the PS pump is puking PS fluid once in a while
And sort out the issue with the "missing" coolant level thing in the coolant expansion tank

Why did you change these:
Timing Chain Tensioner?
Emission Control Gasket
What is the TB?

Are each an easy DIY?

Did you need to lift the car to do the fuel filter?

MotorMark 12-25-2011 04:10 AM

Picked mine up from the body shop last week. It lived there for 9 weeks, being brought back to life from the crazy hail storm back in April. I have named him Lazarus. Looks as good or better than the pic below.
