highest Mileage R1100 ?

Just for interest, who has the highest mileage R1100 ? I feel that my R1100 RT-P ex cop bike is just a pup at 115,000 KM.

highest I have heard of is one owned by Ardys Kellerman (think thats how she spells it. one of hers has 300k+ miles (she has over 1,000,000 miles on BMW motorcycles)

Wow. Can anyone beat that?

According to an article in the December 2011 BMW MOA Owners News by her husband Paul, Voni Glaves (who achieved 1,000,000 BMW miles at the same time as Ardys) has 357,658 miles on her 1994 R1100RS (which she still rides). :yikes:

Yes, the R1100RS is a fantastic bike (mine is a 1995) . . . good for long-distance touring, and then sport riding when you get to your destination, all the while getting 40+ mpg!

Not the highest... maybe the lowest?

Greetings-- Just joined Bimmerfest for the auto information as I was researching a new car to buy, but I saw this motorcycle section of the Forum and this thread. I have a 'first generation' red R1100 RS. I purchased it new from what was Suffolk BMW on Long Island in NY during August 1993. I rode it a bit, got busy, moved a few times, got married, had a child, got really busy and there it sat in my garage for many years.

I got it back on the road one summer ago. It reminded me why I bought it in the first place. There are +/- 12,000 miles on the odometer. After some great work by Mike Neely at Marin Moto Works to clean it up, deal with the damage caused by some left over fuel in the tank, fuel filter and pump, new tires, etc. it is a close to perfect as a 21-yr old machine can be. A testament to great design aesthetics is that many people think it is new bike. They cannot believe it is 21 years old.

Thanks for reading this. Congratulations to all those who manage to go hundreds of thousands of miles. I'm in awe.

Not nearly as many as some of the other posts, but my 2002 R1100S has just over 55k miles on it.

I'd have more miles on it but I bought a couple of other BMWs since acquiring the R1100S in 2010 and I rode them more. (I put 33k miles on my 2012 R1200GS Adventure that I bought in January 3,2013 & sold last September and 17k miles on my 2007 G650X Challenge that I bought July 4, 2011 & sold in November 2013.)
