About to buy the M5
 

Hello all, I am about to buy an M5, it has been a dream of mine for a long time, I am very familiar with the e39, I have a 99 540it with 164,xxx on her and I know all about the services that are required, but is there anything I need to know about the M5, Any info will help, thanks

Hired a PPI before purchase!

Try to get a Cert M5 if you can, I have had my beast for almost 12 years, never a problem, other than trival sensors, lights, fuses but nothing alarming. These are very rare cars, trying to find a shop to repair other than the dealership is the hardest part in my book. Best of luck, don't forgot to let us know how you made out! :-)
