Purchased 06' E60 yesterday. Now what kind of EXHAUST??
Hello B.Fest. New to the site, tons of information....seems mostly negative but im sure we mostly come here for answers to problems. at least thats what im telling my wife as she periodically leans over my shoulder....wanting me to come eat dinner. just purchased a 06' M5 yesterday. absolutely beautiful and fun. I looked thoroughly thru 5 pages of threads and found nothing on exhaust so i figured thats a sign it time for my first post. whats the deal with exhaust? what sounds best? im going to put a CAI on it this week or next to get her breathing going. but what next? wheres my next move? is it Dinan? Meistershaft? Eisenmann? im relying on youtube videos right now but i can only tell so much thru speakers. seems like dinan is the top brand but i think M.shaft sounds best. Whats the consensus? Thank you in advance everyone!

We love the Eisenmann and the RPI Here are some information that perhaps you can use http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Perfor...258-02180.html or http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Perfor...258-00831.html and the RPI GTS system: http://www.bimmerzone.com/BMW_Perfor...PI-EG107R.html I will try to find you a video of the 2 side by side :) |

Dinan for me. Love it.

Dinan and resonator delete. Sounds amazing! I'd say it is more tame than the rpi and eisenmann but more of an f1 sound than just a Dinan exhaust. No downside at all to this setup.
