Leaving 18 April for 3 weeks in Europe. Spending a week touring the Rhine and Mosel River valleys followed by a week in Italy(staying in Vicenza), followed by a week in Bavaria. Will be touring by car with my wife and another couple. Focus will be on history and local culture.

Nothing exotic. State College PA to look for a house.

Every year, including this one, my X3 takes me to Steamboat Springs CO for three months of skiing from mid Jan to Mid April.

Never had a problem in snow, even the 27" we got in 24 hours last month. :D

I won't be driving my new baby for this one, but right now I'm already booking a vacation home rental in Normandy for the Christmas Holidays. It'll be my 60th birthday and I want to go somewhere we've never been to before. I've been to Paris and NIce and wasn't a fan of wither, but friends keep telling me that the people outside the big cities are wonderful. We shall see. Something tells me it is gonna be major league cold in December.

Philadelphia first and then Doha for me.

Leaving Steamboat Springs Wednesday for the drive back to OH. Been a really poor March for snow this year so I will skip the last two weeks of the season but enjoy the forecast sunny drive back.:thumbup:

A few weeks after that, we are taking the Z4 across the Pennines to York. It will be our first road trip in the e89.

Back from Scandinavia, will be in N.Y. for a bit.

June 26 I am chaperoning my wife's students on a jaunt from Barcelona to Florence to Athens then on a 5 day cruise through the Cyclades. Did it two years ago and greatly enjoyed it despite the occassional high school drama scenes. I'm hoping to pick up some BMW memorabilia not found in the US.

Three days after returning from that adventure, we take another group on our first trip to China. Since it's only for ten days and with a group this will only give us a taste of what that huge nation offers. I'm wondering how uncomfortable it's gonna be with the heat and unfamiliar food. I'll be loading up on Pepto and Maalox.

And a week after that I have the opportunity to take a short trip to the Galapagos. I may beg out on that one since I'm not a big nature freak. I can probably see and learn more watching TV specials.

In other words, I won't be doing much topless driving in our 2012 128i convert this Summer.

Leaving June 30 for a two week, small ship (23 cabins) cruise in SE Alaska (Kechikan, Juneau, Sitka, Tracy Arm, Misty Fjord, etc.). Am very excited.

Leaving June 21 on a road trip from Central PA to northern Michigan (Traverse City, Petoskey, Mackinac Island, UP)

Just back from a week on Seabrook Island near Charleston SC via X3. Averaged 23+ MPG @70 MPH over 1600 miles.:) Premium Gas varied from $3.15 / Gal in SC to $3.45 in OH.

Leaving for London 12 Oct for 10 days. I plan to attend the Imperial War Museum Flying Day at Duxford, Cambridgeshire and hope to get some stick time in a Tiger Moth. :thumbup:

Last year they were giving rides for 99 quid.

We saw that tour happening but didn't get on it. Spent two days in Reykjavik walking around. Three days on excursions around the island.

Icelandair sort of s**t the bed; we had a full day delay on the way out and they lost my bag on the way back. But Iceland itself was wonderful.

Just finishing up the final touches for my 60th birthday present - after close to 100 trips across the Pond (mostly to my beloved Deutschland), I'm finally gonna get to see the beaches of Normandy, Mt St Michel, Bayeux and the part of France where the French are supposedly actually friendly. I'm not a seafood lover myself, so this could be rather interesting spending two weeks along the coastlines.

Leaving for Miami next week with friends. After few days in the city - 4 days cruise to Bahamas islands. :)
Kind of Anniversary trip with 2 month delay.
