BMW F12/F13 M6 Coupe and Convertible Pricing Released - At you dealer June 2012
BMW Released pricing for the 2013 BMW F13 M6, F12 M6 Convertible and the much awaited US spec 2013 F10 M5 at the New York Auto Show. The 2012 BMW M6 Convertible will be the first of the three new M cars to arrive in US showrooms. The M6 Convertible arrives in June with a base MSRP of $113,995. Following in late August the M6 Coupe will have a base MSRP of $106,995. Also in late August the M5 goes on sale with an MSRP of $90,695. All pricing includes the $895 destination and handling fee.
The all new M6 is powered by the most powerful engine ever fitted to a BMW M car. The high revving 560 hp TwinPower Turbo V-8 mated is connected to the M-Double Clutch DCT 7 speed transmission. The power is put to the ground through the an Active M Differential which optimizes power transfer between the rear wheels ensuring the engine's performance is transferred to the ground. The M6 has 10% higher more out then the V10 engine of its predecessors the E63 M6 and torque is up by over 30%. With EfficientDynamics in mind fuel consumption and CO2 are reduced by approximately 30%.
Getting one of the first M6 Coupes
If you're interested in getting one of the first M6 coupes the BMW phone banks will open on April 23rd to take orders. M6 Coupes will start production in July and arrive at your local dealer late August. If you're interested in picking up one with European Delivery the first spots will be available at the Welt starting September 1st.
