Brake Caliper pins
If you are sitting around with nothing to do you should consider greasing you caliper pins. EVERY caliper out there works on the same principle but not every caliper has pins like ours. If you have ever had a vehicle with a stuck caliper chances are you can prevent this by a quick lube of the caliper pins.
If this does not fix it you can rebuild fairly easy but that is for another post. If you have not done this plan on it next time you have the wheel off, switching to summer rubber or any other type of work when the wheels are off.

To lube your pins you do not have to remove the caliper from the car. You need some caliper grease
available at most parts houses.

Tools needed are a small screw driver to pop off the plastic cap and a 7mm hex key. Remove your wheel and pop off the caps covering the pins. Left cap is off right is still there.

You can now access the pin and remove it with the 7mm key.
Remove the pin, clean lube and replace. Takes only a few minutes and helps extend pad life as well as fuel mileage.
