xenon headlamp replacement
 

Had driver side headlamp go out on my 650I, found out it can be a bear, so added a few pictures to
help the next person out..
Pictures will detail sequence of removal and replacement of bulb, which will require removal
of front tire,depending on which bulb you are replacing.

Great thread, thanks! I am unfortunately in the need to replace my driver side xenon as it is turning pink.

What I don't understand is what you are saying about the removal of the front wheel, depending on which bulb you are replacing. Can you clarify this a little bit please? Also, approximately how long did it take you to do this?

Hi There,

If the side marker bulb needs replacement,because of its angle, you may want to remove the tire to give you more area to work in..Speaking for myself, if it happens again,
I will definitely remove tire..
Now as far as time, I would say give your self about 2 hrs, depending on how nimble
or fat your fingers are..
My hand is big, so I had rough go at it...
