Don't Miss Dorkfest Northern Cal People!
I just wanted to post about it here in case some of you didn't hear about the event on Roadfly.
This Sunday is THE SF Bay Area Z Coupe event - so far it looks like 30+ will be attending.
For more info go to www.mdork.com and/or contact Scott at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here is what the invite said fyi:
The Bay Area coupers must come together at 2004's ultimate coupe gathering:: Dorkfest v2!
We will be meeting at Blackhawk Plaza in Danville at 9:30 am to set up the cars and allow the infamous Doug (bdougr) to work his photography magic. Of course everyone should bring their cameras and snap off pics of this historic and monumental event! I am expecting 30+ coupes to attend!
Following the photoshoot, those interested are welcome to tour the museum. World-renowned for its collection of rare and historic classics (including a BMW 507). Around noon we will grab a quick lunch at one of Danvilles fine eateries and then those interested will head out on a group drive. Depending on the number of cars participating in the drive we may split into a "fast" and "slow" group. The route will be planned by MSH. If you plan to attend the drive, all cars will need an FRS radio! Theyre only $15 if you dont have one already.
DATE IS FINALIZED!! June 13 @ 9:30 am. Im looking forward to seeing many of you again and meeting lots of new coupers! There is an autox at Castle Airport on Saturday for those interested. American Autox Series event (http://www.americanauto-x.com/schedule/).
--PLEASE email me (email@example.com) with the following info if you plan to attend!:
--Full Name and Message board name if you have one
--Year/Model/Color of your coupe
--City you are coming from
Looks great - have fun - with Doug there I am sure that the photos will be absolutey fabulous
Love the front end on this - I assume this is the Hamann kit
The blacked out grilles lend a more "aggressive" poise to it too
BTW - yes, the Hamann kit
are roadsters invited too? I'd like to go.
roadsters are welcome to come but the plaza parking is reserved for Coupes only. there is always lots of parking available just below in the museum lot.
