Just wondering
I'm trading in my e60 525i 2004 and getting a 2007 m6 stick shift .the questions are have anyone ever bought one and was disappointed it has 75000 miles. How many miles do these 10 cylinders take before they start breaking down ....I just don't want to put myself threw payments again if there are many issues

Know going in that you will pay for the pleasure to drive this car...M6s are high-performance vehicles and this one is out of warranty. So, in addition to routine maintenance like oil changes (about $250) and brakes (about $1K), the car will take a quart of 10W60 synthetic oil about every 3K miles, more frequent fuel fill-ups...500HP V10s are thirsty monsters, new tires every 7K miles or so...a set of Michelins for this car will run you about $2100. Depending on how well the previous owner drove and took care of the car, 76K on the odometer may or may not be problematic, but keep in mind it's not the same as buying a Camry with this type of mileage.

I wouldn't get an M6 with 75k miles but thats just me. To many things that could go wrong with that many miles.
