Vin number issue on potential new car
 

Hi all,

Im just about to handover a large sum of cash for a car and I have a query about the door jamb VIN plate.

There seems to be two stickers, one of which has been ripped a little. The one that has been ripped has tyre pressures on etc. Which I'm hoping is all it has, and there is another down the bottom which has a corresponding VIN.

the car is a 58 plate 120d.

Could anyone confirm or deny that the higher plate located nearer the door lock mechanism has VIN info on it?
