2012 750Li fuses
I want to tap into the fuse block to install a V1 radar connection behind the glove box. Intend to use an add a circuit fuse tap and want a circuit that turns on/off with ignition.
There is no chart I can find telling what the fuses behind the glove box are for. Can any one tell me which fuse to use with the add a circuit for a radar install or where i can find, get a diagram of the board and it's functions? I'm up in the Colorado Mt's and over 150 mile from any dealer. Thanks in advance:eek: |
Spuron: wire it thru the roof center console. It's actually easier that way. See this DIY post http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...53&postcount=1

Do not want to tap into a wire, want to connect direct to fuse box circuit. Had seen similar article about the overhead and wire. Do not want to fiddle with removal of light console either. Thank you for quick reply.
Anyone know of which fuse to use on fuse block behind glove box or where to see what the fuses are in a diagram? Please? |
ask some technician st bmw to do it for you or at some audio shop?
|
What's an audio shop? Like audible.com, iTunes? I wonder if the new generation knows about those.

Can't believe no one out there has done a direct wire to the fuse block and there is no place nor anyone who knows what the fuses are for on the block? Please?
I'm over 150 mile from any dealer and sure would like to know what fuse to tie onto. Someone can help-------can't you?? |
Found fuse diagram by rear(trunk) fuse box and it included the diagram for the front, glove box area, fuses also. Have identified numbers 54 and 65 as useable to tap into for a radar. {In case anyone cares}.
Now---does someone know where an explanation to the symbols on the diagram can be obtained? Know a few, but would like a complete list. |
54 and 65 did not seem to turn off right away for me, but 21 worked, switches off right away.
