just saw photos of Black Sapphire/Cinnamon
 

That cinnamon seems to slant toward an orange hue. Can anyone tell me if I'm correct in my opinion?

Looks very cool. Really like the leather at the bottom of the Dash. I saw this pict when I did my search on Cinnamon... Initially did not know it was only an M color.

If that interior color leans toward orange, I'm not sure I will be happy after living six months or so with it. I'm hoping that it tones a little darker.....more like the picture on the BMW build site. See below.

I plan to order in a couple of weeks. The dealer tells me that it's about a 3 - 4 weeks turnaround on an X6M.
When the car arrives, I plan to have a clear bra front end package installed. Can anyone provide info on having that done? I'm particularly interested in hearing comments on putting clear bra film on Black Sapphire.

I have clearbra on my Sapphire Metallic X5. A must IMO. No visible lines if done correctly. Just keep in mind if you wax the car don't overlap where the clearbra "line" meets the paint, stay about 1/2 back from the line and always wipe away or the residue will get trapped in the line. I run a thin strip of automotive blue tape over the "line" then remove after the wax is removed. Hood (12"-18") Front end including bumper and valence, partial front fender panel, Mirrors, under the handles, Most places have standard computer cut patterns to choose from. Some have done the rockers and in front of the rear wheel wells, any where where stones might spin off the tires and sandblast the lower area. These area may require a more skilled applicator since it may be custom work.

Thanks for the reply and advice Denaliman. I plan to address all those areas with the film. I appreciate the automotive tape hint. After I get the car and the bra is installed, I will post pictures.

NP. You might want to check over on M forum at X5world there is a whole thread about issues with paint chipping on the X5M/X6M and where to apply the 3M. I just placed my X6M order for almost the same config.
