Power upgrade for 320i

Im kinda new to this forum so do try and bear with me.

My old man has a 320i 8 speed (modern)

since the base 328i is $10,000 :cry: more than a fully loaded 320i, it was out of budget for my dad, however i did notice there are upgrades for 328i but almost none for the 320i despite running the same N20 engine (albeit with diff turbo and compression).

However on the F20 125i which has the identical engine to the 320i runs around 218hp and 310NM, is there any way of upgrading the 320i to a potential 325i (in theory) while keeping my warranty.

I do plan once the warranty dies to upgrade even more but till then (4 yrs) im on the hunt for a power hike.

Welcome, Vince. I suspect you already know the answer... that bit about the warranty is the rub. Just keep reminding yourself that (1) performance is more than just acceleration -- enjoy the excellent handling, and (2) that 320i is easier on on the wallet that the more powerful models, too.
