What is the difference?

I believe it is just size. E65 is the i and E66 is the Li. If there is more than that I know someone else will chime in.

I think it's just the size 5" but I have noticed my boot on my E66 seems smaller than the E65 I had or it could just be my glasses (should of gone to spec savers)

Only difference should be exactly 5.5" all in the backseat area.

e65= Average Joes
e66=Porn star

Average Joes will try and justify to you that size doesnt matter, yet we all know every inch makes a difference. Yes, We are still talking about bmws

E66 guys are cheap bastards that want to get laid in the backseat of their car instead of getting a hotel room.:)...we all know that's the only thing the room in the backseat is good for since most of you guys and your passengers are under 6 ft.

Actually we film BangBus in the backseat and make mad moolah off you Average Joes. Sorry to bust your bubble but no amount of " alternative modifications" can make your E65 into an E66.

The e65 is more sporty. The e66 is papaw's chariot.

E65 is like a half 7 why i short and wide why not to get 5. 7 should be big and long. :)))) lol too cheap to get a room. I love it. But nah we like to experiment :)))

E66 Rules the longer the better. E65 passengers are shorter than 5 foot

Umm why would a guy who owns an E65 want to make it into an E66?. Reality is that there are more E66s out there than E65s. Most E66 owners buy one because its whats available on the lot. Most E65 buyers are actually looking for an E65 because we had to pass on many E66s to get the E65 we wanted.

Only 2 out of 10 seven series I see are E65s. I wouldnt be surprised if it was the same ratio everywhere else..let me tell you why I think thats the case. E66s are most likely owned intially by older people who are probably well established financially who can afford to buy the car new. Its more than likely the car an older person would choose to be driven in and hence the need for extra room in the back. Most of the people buying these cars new are older so I would expect that there would be more E66s out there for that reason.

I see a new E65 most likely being bought by a younger guy who happens to have money and wants all the pleasure of driving the flagship without the useless excess baggage. He doesnt care about an extra 5 inches in the back seat because he is never in the back and besides he has an extra 5 inches in his pants which is all he needs (The older guy buying the E66 at this point in his life will take an extra 5 inches anywhere since any extra inches in the pants is useless to him at this point in his life :) )

I have to disagree with u brother on this one. To ppl who can afford new 7. Couple thousands is nothing. I will never buy short 7. It was designed to be long in the first place. When i was shopping for mine we had many e65s for sale and only 3 e66s. Here in calgary all i see e65s still not that many. Lol look at us fighting over 5.5 inches hahahahaha.

And we will never come to resolution on this. E65 owners will say its better and E66 owners will disagree. Personally i just dont like the look of e65. I dont really care bout extra space. Nobody rides there but when they do, ppl say wow.
