Recommend Akebono Brake Pads

I had Akebono Ceramics on my Z3 Roadster and loved them. Bought a Z4M in April and got tired of the black dust on the wheels, though the OEM pads were super. The Okebono's have only a fraction of the brake dust and are very smooth and quiet. Would buy them again.

I only use Akebonos on all my cars...Z3, Jeeps and Hondas.

Hawks are good but dusty too. I just put in cool carbon for mine. Have not really taken it out but so far it's good

I put stop tech on my Z4 earlier this year, no where near as dusty as the OEM but not ceramic clean either. Braking performance with the slotted and drilled rotors is fantastic! Not a load of money either.

I changed to ECB Red Stuff pads. 75% of the dust is now gone and I can't notice any difference in braking, noise or performance .Replaced on my 06 Z4 and 08 X5...Nice!

ECB had a BAD reputation when I got into BMWs. Rotors were eaten up.
