1996 Z3 purchase

An out of state relative of mine is looking at a 96 Z3, 70k mi, new top, records. Car is described as in very good condition. He is running a Carfax. I did a search but didn't find much. I know this is the first model year. Any glaring issues to look for or take into consideration? Car is priced at $7k. Thanks.
