Z4 - Can Someone Give Me P/N for this Aux Cable
 

So I have a 2006 Z4 Coupe. A while back I bought an aux cable without really researching off ebay. It was described as an auxiliary cable to play MP3s for several vehicles and Z4 was one of them. I asked the seller if it would fit my year and he said yes. Well, over a year later I'm finally doing it. It fits in the back of the stereo fine. But there is no option that comes up on the desplay for Aux cable. So I'm sure that this cable just wasn't for my year. I waited too long to return. I just want to know what the p/n is. And I know what I need. But I want to sell it on ebay correctly and not screw someone over. Thx.

edit...or if someone knows how to modify this...I've been looking online all over the place...btw, its a 12 pin connector and it has 3 wires connected to it. the yellow wire is in slot 3, the black wire is in slot 4, and the clear/grey wire is in slot 10....sorry, I'm just a knucklehead when it comes to this stuff...

Take that white cover off and reveal the black connector. The black connector will then pug in the back of your stereo. Plug the connector in one pin over. Here is the URL to my thread with pics for better description.

I had seen that...but I think my cable is different....one end is the connector...the other end is a male 3.5 connector, and yours is a femaile end...not sure if that makes a difference... also, my connector shown in pic is a 12 pin, yours is 10.. mine fit fine, do I still need to remove it? and not sure what you mean by plug it one pin over... The back of my stereo already has plugs in there, so there is no room... the only place available was the 1 slot, where I initially put it... damn I suck at these things..
