Tire Rotation?
I have Hankook V12 NRF's that are about 6 month old with about 5K on them. Is there any reason to do or not do tire rotation (swap left to right of course)?
Thanks. |
I rotated my fronts because one was getting more feathered than the other. I once read that BMW says not to, but I do not remember the source.

Hankook V12 are directional so you will need to dismount the tires from the rim then move them over to the other wheel and remount. This allows you to switch sides while maintaining correct directional rotation.
I would not bother unless you are getting very rapid wear on one half of the tire. That usually indicates some sort of alignment issue. I drive like a maniac and I am getting very even tire wear so far. |

Btw, speaking of driving like a mainiac, you should post some video of you at a track. I'll bet we'd all enjoy seeing the master at work. |
