Will 2011 750i wheels fit my 745i?
 

Been looking for nice wheels for a while and ran across 2011 750i stock wheels on craigslist. Would like to know if they will fit without any problems.

They should fit fine.

Whoa whoa whoa not necessarily man! You have to make sure the offset is the same! And if not, you're going to need some spacers but you should still be able to run them :thumbup: a few members have done it before and it looks terrible without spacers

Found these wheels taken off 2011 750. My limited research indicates they are:

1. Wheel is 245/50/18 (18x8)
2. Offset (is30)

Not sure if I need spacers or anything else to fit these onto my 2005 745i. If anyone knows, please do share.

Unless you're getting a great deal on those, I would search for another set. Fitment should bolt right on. Just like Suri said though, make sure offsets are the same or the wheels would appear sunk in.

These are the wheels I have on my car. I like the way they look, but problem is the brake dust is welded in and I cannot get it off. Anyway, I don't know what kind of offset my wheels have, but I'm hopping same as the 2011 wheels I found for sale (which have offset is30)

I like the ones you have on there now. Did you try a brake cleaner? There has to be some type of solution that can clean those babies up. No sense in letting a nice set of wheels go.

Over priced. Looks better unpainted. I have seen a lot of the style 95 19" OEM go for $600-$1000 with tires.

I suggest a good wheel cleaner (EagleOne A2Z Wheel/Tire Cleaner, Sonax, P21), a wheel face brush or a wash mitt dedicated to wheels, and a an Mini-EZ Detail Brush for the crevices. If you have some brake dust particles stuck on the wheels, a clay bar and/or wheel polish can remove it.

not sure what is the best asking prices... I'm throwing it out there so ppls for make me an offer on them. Also plus i'm giving a set of brake with purchase.

The new F01/02 has different offsets than out cars and would require spacers to work with our setups. I remember looking at the Style 312's for my car and came to the conclusion I'd need almost 25mm spacers to accomplish a factory look, and 32mm to get it a bit more flush like I wanted!

The brake dust can be removed with the right product and tools. I HIGHLY SUGGEST getting TRIX (from the makers of Iron Cut) and a good stiff bristled detaling brush and to take the wheels off and clean them. I did this with the wheels on my 760 and it removed about 99% of the baked on dust. There are a few spots that have really crusted on dust that a second time should remove!

I have 19" oem titanium silver rims.
I want to put them on my 540i. How??

Today I called two separate BMW dealerships and asked to talk to those in charge service dept.

1. One said the wheels won't fit at all
2. The other said they would fit but would stick out just a little bit more than stock wheels.

They're both retarded.

1) They will fit.
2) When they do fit, they will be sunken in, NOT sticking out :confused:

That's why you need spacers to make them look good.

where can I get those spacers? and what type should I look for?

I kinda rather have my wheels stick out just a little bit more than stock.

I think any rim shop should have them..:dunno:
