Need help

im new to the site, was wondering if you guys could help me out. i have a 98,528i. i just put a new water pump and radiator on it about 3weeks ago, today i noticed my thermostat gage was going into the red. any ideas of what could be the problem?

Could be your thermostat, mine did that not long ago, scared the be jingles out of me as thought that it was my cylinder head over heating. Should be about $80 for the part

No idea on this one, but on some engines, it's hard to get all of the air out when draining then refilling the cooling system. Have you checked the actual level?
