Tire width

Hey guys just picked up a 2010, 135 coupe last month. Loving the car so far. I have noticed the the tires are a little small. I have the stock good year eagle LS-2- 205-50/17. My last car (Genesis coupe) had 245 in the back I believe and the handling and grip seemed to better or maybe just different but I was wondering if I could fit wider tires to the 17 inch rims or would I have to get new rims to upgrade the tire size? Thanks

Thanks, I checked before I posted and it just shows the two different kinds of rft that they have for 17 inch rims but was wondering if It was possible to put some 225 or 245 on my 17 inch rims.

Its really going to depend on the width of your rear wheels. Do you know that? The majority of our customers have been running something similar to the AluFelgen CS7 Wheels in 18". This allows you to not only upgrade the look of your car with some nice wheels, but fit a nice size tire ;) The tires are usually 225/40R18 and 255/35R18.
