x5 4.8is 2005 Air Suspention
 

I own a 2005 BMW 4.8is with the air suspention system. (66,000 miles) The dash light came on this morning indicating the "air suspention inactive". I checked fuses in the glove box and cargo area. Fuses seem to be fine...nothing blown. Can anyone tell what to look for to fix or correct the air compressor problem? Front of the car rides like a truck and back is riding high. Thank you for helping in advance.

Did you ever figure out that self-leveling problem?

got my SLS diagnosed yesterday

the ride height is perfect

mechanic says the front L has a slow leak and the computer is not happy, lol

sometimes the front end lifts a little

So I took my truck to my mechanic and he reset it on his computer or calibrated the air suspension. All seems fine with the truck I will post new information regarding if the self-leveling is off or it's fine. I just want to say thank you to everyone that posted something regarding this issue and once I find out what was really wrong with the truck I will update this site.
