Model Year 2013 X5 xDrive35d Product Annoucement
 

All of the earlier speculation appears to be just that...

MY2013 X5 xDrive35d ordering and pricing guides have been announced.

There are no standard equipment changes vs. MY2012.

Please note the following in regards to packages and options for the MY2013 X5 xDrive35d:

> Premium Package (ZPP) now includes Chrome Line Exterior (346). Package MSRP is $3,600 (+$100)

> Satellite radio (655) has been released as a stand-alone option for $350

> Premium Sound Package (ZPS) pricing has been reduced to $950

> M Performance Package (ZMX) is not available for the X5 xDrive35d


Production for the MY2013 X5 xDrive35d will begin in December 2012.

finally, ZPS is a total waste of money. I tried to get my dealer to order standalone sat radio for me... ugh.

I thought that starting with the October production the Premium package will include soft closing doors for an additional $275, bringing the premium package to $3,775. Any idea why the premium package is listed on MY 2013 for $3,600 ( $3,500 previous price plus $100 for chrome )? No soft closing doors part of the premium package for MY 13?
My car started production on 09/28 and was finished on 10/05; I'll pick it up on 10/29. Dealer did not mention anything about soft closing doors as part of premium package and I'm wondering if my car will get them, or not ( I ordered it with premium package ).

Premium pkg for the X5d does not include soft close doors...soft close doors is an addtional 600.00 option

Difference between 2012 and 2013 X5Ds?
 

What are the differences between the 2012 and 2013 X5Ds? Will BMW extend the Eco credit into 2013 for those sitting the fence on the two? Mahalo!
