yoiu should be able to post from day one, its just you dont get an avatar picture like I do.

try hosting the photo offsite e.g. photobucket, and then post the image tag here. most forums arent overly user friendly for posting photos directly at the best of times

There is no post requirement for posting pictures here. You should be able to attach pictures, where are you trying to post?

When you're posting, you have to go the advanced setting, click on the manage attachment button and a window will open letting you browse your computer for images. Are you doing that?

Yes. iPhone and iPad, both on Bimmerapp 1.5. Both only have two options on pics, link to URL or image link, neither can access camera roll. Which is wierd because I just did this two days ago.

I deleted app, reinstalled, same error.

Ah so, thanks Tim.

How do I post a picture to my profile? I cant figure it out, I go to edit profile but no where to attach my picture, I found the photo album and attached my picture there but I cant get it to go to my profile:dunno:

I believe it takes 100 posts to unlock the profile picture. I was talking about posting pictures to threads/posts not having a restriction. You can setup a signature for your account now, if you need help with that let me know.

I uploaded one in the introduction thread but cannot post one in the E39 garage thread.

Can you link me to where you're having trouble posting? When you try to attach images to the thread what isn't working?

It's difficult because I'm doing it from my phone. I get what appears to be an authorisation error much like that described in the earlier posts.

It sounds like you are a version behind on the app. Can you try removing and reinstalling BimmerApp please.
