Edit: Nevermind. I just read that SB LiMotive (Samsung/Bosch) is building the battery packs for the i3.


A123 Systems has (had?) a contract with BMW for lithium-ion batteries. Not sure where they are using them.


News reports say that A123 will be selling their battery plants to Johnson Controls.
