Holding start/stop button too long for ignition

just picked up my f20 118i yesterday , this morning when i started the engine i held the start/stop button a bit too long that the rev goes high to 2000 and had a bit louder engine roar
does it do any harm to the flywheel and the starter?
saw some other threads saying the electronic ignition will disengage the starter as soon as it detects the engine is running so it doesnt matter whether the button is just tapped or held
any thoughts on this?

As stated in the manual, the best technique is to BRIEFLY push the Start button while depressing the clutch (MT) or brake pedal.
