Oh my gosh.....a Daytona Violet E36 Touring MTek......

Do you have any idea what those of us here in the US would do to get one of those?

E36 Touring Restoration - The project

So now i will tell you what i pretend to do in this project.

Exterior:
Nem paint in Montego Blue
Factory M3 Front Lip Spoiler
New headlights with angel eyes
New Bonnet and trunk badges
Factory M3 Front grill
Cristal Smoked fog lights.
Alpina 18' wheels
Cristal smoked side repeaters
Cristal Smoked corners
Door handle rubber trims

Interior:
Full seating with synthetic leather
Door Panels in synthetic leather
Gearknob, handbrake and steering wheel in synthetic leather
Radio Cd BUsiness CD43
Cruise Control retrofit
Chrome gauge rings
Cluster M Badge
Tinted Windows
Interior white led lights
Air cond. retrofit
M Pedals

...and i think it's all!

I don't remember one day without seeing a touring on the road, we have loads here but just a few M Pack!

Step 1- removing all trim and components

Step 2 - Rust removal and preparing for paint

Step 3 - Aplication of 3M protective layer

Wanna sell me your old headlights? And don't repaint a Daytona touring. A little kitten just died because of that. :(

Restoration Update

Hello guys!

Now the car went to restore the interior in full synthetic leather.
I designed myself the details. It will look amazing when finshed.
Everything will be black with some delicious details.
The headliner is already black but will be replaced.
Brand new carpets are being made also, the steering wheel is getting a brand new cover.

So next steps coming soon, with photos of course!

Nevermind...Montego looks way better on that than I could have have imagined. Good choice.

At first I couldn't believe it was going to get painted, but I now understand :yikes:

That car with 18" Alpinas + 5 speed swap would just be incredible...

I was thinking about that swap but its very expensive as there are lots of parts to swap. But at the first experience with an automatic i found it quite impressive. The Sport selector rules!
Montego Blue was love at first sight!

One of them is brand new and the other looks great too. but it should be expensive to send them to US. But send an offer by pm without the shippment.

Yeah, that was my target! It's a pre classic, and i will take care as a classic, but i will drive it every days.
