navtool audio input
 

hello all, i have an 01e38 sport widescreen-mk4 and planning to do indash dvd mod. navtool will handle the video, but i need a good option for the audio. i dont have the bm53 radio with aux input. any thoughts or suggestions?

I have a 05 X5 with wide screen nav. I bought a $40 Aux audio input cable from the dealer that plugs into an open receptacle behind the screen. It is plug and play. I use it for my Ipod and it works fine.

Dont do anything half-ass..take care of it..if u have to pay a professional save ur money n do so..NO USED PARTS IN THAT CAR ALSO..u bought an expensive car,have money to take care of it..even if ur doing stereo..i had alot of 400 lexus's n used junkyard parts worked well..but i would never allow a used part in my bmw nor would i ever DIY or have a regular mechanic touch my BMW..if anybpdy touches ur bimmer get a bmw pro..the car will last,u wont have to buy another car if ur good to it..best advice never DIY..take it to pro if ur not mechanically inclined..wat if..u do stereo/dvd n u get a check light on dash? U kno to fix that?...
