To the untrained eye it doesn't look very special, any difference between am smg clutch and a typical manual transmission clutch?

I always assumed most if the magic was in the actuating mechanism.

jashearer : Its pretty much the OEM supplier (LUK and SACHS) at much cheaper than dealer prices. Give everyone a better choice than going to the dealer and paying thru the nose.

We now have the upgraded Cryo and REM ISF treated Guide Bushing :)

I'm about to get an '06 M5 and it will most likely need a new clutch soon after purchase... Anyone have an estimate about how much the labor would cost to install one of these? Thanks!
